Born and raised in Britain, with Swiss roots, Flavia now lives with sheep, cats, dog and family in Zurich. She is an interior architect, creative director and certified yoga therapist. She excels in Helvetic punctuality and enjoys good English humor, goat cheese, figs and red wine. She is fluent in German and English and has run construction sites in Italian. She is in her happy place when she goes off-grid and believes in the deep connection between nature and human beings.

Her studies include: Architecture at ETH Zurich and a Bachelor Magna cum laude in Interior Architecture at Istituto Europeo di Design Milano. In 2021 she completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies at the ETH Zurich in Regenerative Materials and participated in the Ecological Design Programme with UNESCO’s partner Gaia Education.

Flavia draws on more than a decade of experience as an executive board member with respected interior design practice Atelier Zürich. She realised numerous residential and hospitality properties (Director of Concept & Design for Swissôtel), from conception and planning to construction management. She is the co-founder of Off Grid Hideaways, an online booking portal for remote and stylish holiday homes, where she was the creative director until 2020.
